I am applying to Code Platoon in hopes to get an opportunity to build on the existing knowledge I have at this time. My background is in Computer Science and I am very passionate about logic, programming and all things techonology. I am also a veteran having served in the Army almost 7 years.
My educational background started when I enrolled myself in Cisco's two year Networking Academy. This ran along side my highschool classes. After I graduated, I enrolled myself at Ohio University for a BAs in Computer Science with a minor in Business. Due to life and financial hardship, I wasn't able to finish my degree.
I am currently unemployeed and haven't had stable employment in over two years. I am also disabled, so that has been helping me keep a float for a bit. But taking time off would be no problem for me as I'm already doing this and educating myself and trying to get into a program like the one you're offering.
